The Maimonides program founded in the late-1990s at the University of Michigan, the Maimonides Leaders Fellowship has since spread to over 40 campuses throughout North America and Israel.

Applications are now open for our Fall Maimonides Leadership Fellowship 2011. This program promises to be the best yet. Hosted in our new Downtown Yorkville location steps from UofT and right on the TTC, we have an amazing array of top speakers and educators already confirmed.

The Maimonides Leadership Fellowship is a 10 Week Program that trains, inspired and empowers students on campus at UofT, Ryerson and other schools in the Downtown Core to take responsibility and step up to leadership positions in the Jewish community.

Starting Feb 7th, running every Tuesday night, our program kicks off with a home-cooked dinner served from 6:30pm onwards. Session one starts at 7:00 followed by desert and discussion. Session two begins at 8:15pm and runs until 9:15pm. Following the last session complimentary transport is provided up Bathurst all the way to Thornhill to ensure that you get home stress-free.

The program also includes one Shabbaton experience a chance to kick back, relax and bond with the rest of the group as well as a Friday night Shabbat experience at the Downtown branch as well as an exclusive Sunday seminar bringing in out-of-town speakers.

Not only that, on completion of the program, you get paid a stipend of $400 plus the opportunity to join our Maimonides Pro program – an exclusive team of team of students who are pro-actively working to make a difference on campus and beyond.
